A logo by itself is a graphic element that represents the brand, while a brand is a combination of all tangible and intangible aspects that represent the organisation: from the colour palette and tone of voice, to social media and typefaces.
Without the brand, the logo wouldn't have a real meaning - it would be simply a graphical element that lacks synergy with all the other elements that make up a company's outward appearance.
Content creation is the process of planning and creating content that is useful, accessible and effective for an audience. It is usually created in relevant formats for specific channels, whether that be on a blog, social media, or video.
Content is much more effective than ads in engaging your customer, as it creates a deeper bond with the brand by eliciting emotion or acting as a source of information in ways that a traditional passive ad is not capable of doing.
This is a comprehensive, detailed strategic planning document designed to guide the communications of an organization.
It is designed to direct an organization’s high-level communications, and often has a three-year time horizon, with a more detailed implementation plan for year one.
Public relations (PR) enhances the internal and external understanding of a company’s strategies, objectives and achievements.
They build a positive public image and reputation by working with consumer-facing channels such as media publications, influencers, or even by cultivating business relationships.
PR is all about effective communication, whether it’s between an organisation and its target audience or between a person and the people they want to influence.
The goal of measuring PR is to find out what is being said about your brand. Brand reputation can be a deciding factor when it comes to impacting your bottom line. To build a comprehensive picture, we take into account a wide range of traditional and modern indicators, from digital metrics like brand mentions, website traffic, bounce rate, and share of voice, to the time-honoured method of collecting press clippings.
Branding is where we build an emotional character around a brand in relation to the audience, and marketing is a way to allow your audience to connect with your brand. In this sense, branding is the North Star of any company, and lays out an enduring vision of how the organisation should be perceived by customers, partners and employees.
Marketing is the means to that end, and uses outreach and timely analytics catered towards different audiences to achieve that goal. While marketing methods will come and go, your brand will always remain constant.
While companies often resort to hiring freelancers based on their lower costs, the expertise of a freelancer is often limited to one or two areas. Very few have all the skills necessary to deliver cross-platform results for a complex project like a web design project or company branding. On the other hand, a creative agency will have a team to work on your project. Different parts of your project will be assigned to team members that specialize in their respective roles. Because each individual part of the project is being worked on by a specialist, projects often come together faster and require fewer revisions.
In the long run, hiring freelancers may even cost more than a creative agency, due to the lack of a cohesive vision and the risk of delays and revisions. By hiring a creative agency, you are also hiring a project manager to look after your vision, which means fewer revisions and a shorter delay to market.
